My book "A Vintage Year" has been selling well and has drawn many very favourable comments. So I have produced a similar volume covering last year's "La Vie en Bleu" hillclimb and celebration of French automotive achievment organised by the Bugatti Owners Club at Prescott, Gloucestershire.

A selection of my early photographs can be found in Motor Racing at Oulton Park in the 1960s, published in 2006 by Veloce Publishing Ltd.

Among the drivers featured are Jim Clark, Graham Hill, Jack Brabham, Bruce McLaren, Jochen Rindt, Jackie Stewart and Brian Redman. Cars include Lotus, BRM H-16, Ford GT40, Ferrari and Chevron.

This book is available through all booksellers, in particular those specialising in motor sport publications. Its ISBN is 1-84584-038-0 and the price in UK is £12.99 and in the USA $24.95.

Now available ! A second volume of Oulton Park photographs in the same series - Motor Racing at Oulton Park in the 1970's. For sample pictures, please see the Gallery " Oulton Park in the 1970s".You can also see sample pages on the publisher's web site www.veloce.co.uk.

In the 1970s, non-championship F1 races were becoming a thing of the past

but F5000 stepped up to produce some memorable Gold Cup races. Historic

racing was beginning to gather momentum and the VSCC’s annual

Richard Seaman Trophies meeting was a major attraction each summer.

One-make racing became popular with Escort Mexicos, Renault 5s and Minis

thrilling spectators with their close and often spectacular racing.

In Formula Ford and Formula 3, future champions again came to Oulton Park,

among them Nigel Mansell, Nelson Piquet and Alan Jones and a young

Martin Brundle was attracting attention at the wheel of a Toyota Celica

in saloon car racing.

The ISBN for Motor Racing at Oulton Park in the 1970sis 978-1-84584-164-5. It is priced at £12.99 (UK) or $25.95 (USA).
